Thursday Apr 11, 2019
Why did you choose to get up this morning? Was it because the alarm clock went off? How many times did you hit the snooze button? Why are you wearing the outfit you're wearing right now? Are you trying to impress someone? Are you trying to be comfortable? Are you dressing for the job because that's what's expected of you? These seem like very simple questions. But evaluating our motives becomes a very powerful tool that we can use to evaluate why we do what we do. When we evaluate our motives, we find there's much more beneath the surface than we realized. When we ask these kinds of questions, we uncover the heart of what truly motivates us. And when we see that, can end up at the end of ourselves.
