Life can be painful. But Jesus didn't promise a world without pain. He said, "In this world you will have trouble, but take heart! I have overcome the world." In other words, there will be pain, but I have been there and I've experienced all the pains this world has to offer. Adele's life of following Jesus has led her down paths of pain. But looking back over it all, the most valuable lesson has been solidarity with Jesus.
