The mental models we use when approaching discipleship have a huge impact on the way in which we walk with Christ. Shifting our perspective from one that sees discipleship as a destination to one that see it as a direction is the first micro shift we must make if we hope to grow in Christian maturity. Being close to God like a Pharisee or far from Him like the woman at the well doesn't matter if we aren't looking at Him as we walk.
